What is a Certified Quality Inspector? Becoming a Certified Quality Inspector helps you identify and recognize the current and industry quality specific product standards for each of the product categories in your industry. The Certified Quality Inspector is an inspector who, in support of and under the direction of quality engineers, supervisors, or technicians, can use the recognised and proven techniques included in the body of knowledge.

How do you become a Certified Quality Inspector? There are five steps needed to become a Certified Quality Inspector viz; Register with a Certified Quality Inspectorate, enrol with an education centre, enrol in a qualification with the Certified Quality Institute (CQI), Enter for examinations, and Pass your examinations.

The quality inspector is the person possibly most intently involved with day-to-day activities intended to ensure that products and services meet customer expectations. The quality inspector is required to understand and apply a variety of tools and techniques that are codified in country-specific national guidelines and regulatory prerequisites.

Generic tools and techniques recognised and familiar in the industry include technical math, metrology, inspection and test techniques, and quality assurance. Quality inspectors usually work with the quality function of organizations in the various measurement and inspection laboratories, as well as on the shop floor assisting and interacting with quality engineers and production/service delivery personnel.

A ‘Remotely Proctored’ exam will be facilitated after your course.

A valid ZTS ‘Certificate of Training’ will be awarded to each participant upon successfully completing the course.
