Course Overview
How to monitor and evaluate a Humanitarian Programme? All humanitarian organizations endeavor to improve and better the quality and effectiveness of responding to all kinds of emergencies and the complexities that arise with each.

- Comprehend and define the concepts and purposes of monitoring and evaluation
- Accurately explain and describe the roles and responsibilities for monitoring and evaluation
- Recognize appropriate monitoring and evaluation techniques and tools in the given context
- Differentiate between Program Management Cycle and Monitoring & Evaluation Cycles
- Understand what logic models are, how they are used, their basic components and how they fit in the range of results-based planning tools
- Understand how a log frame matrix is built up from a logic model and can identify the differences between the two
- Design and develop a strategic plan for implementing a monitoring and evaluation system
